Me and girls have been growing potatos inside and the cats ripped it too shread and I'm wondering if they could still do well if I added soil back in

@ABCDEF7 a little root damage and most of the top as seen in picture I did I bit of digging to see if there was anything more but nah. Maybe 25 minutes like that I was bathing my kid so around that 25 minutes mark I came down to it
