True story.
Know how I found out I was allergic?
Happened about twenty years ago.
Went to Hawaii, got a real lei put around my neck.
Started tearing up on the rental car bus.
Almost fell out choking at the rental car counter.
The lady at the rental car place diagnosed it.
Not an uncommon thing I was told.

@SatyrService I'm honestly not sure. I'm thinking they got into a shipment of some sort of seeds or something and got over here that way.

@Tumbleweed Tumbleweeds, specifically the Russian thistle (Salsola tragus), arrived in the United States in the 1870s, likely brought in with imported flax seeds. They quickly spread across the western U.S. and Canada within just a couple of decades
