For anyone following my amaryllis

The first flowers are just about done, but, low and behold, a new stalk is pushing up. I will soon have more flowers.

Is that rare to send a second shoot up that small with a bud ?

@skimpyboy This has happened almost every year, sometimes it isn't as sequential though.
