I Love Fishing

I don’t fish. Except I catch salmon in Tesco sometimes. And plaice. But I love the boats that go out on the haaf. And their nets. In college our theme is flotsam and jetsam and I have done loads of artwork based on bits of netting washed up on the beach. I am going to upload a photo of the bits caught in the rocks on my beach. Well it’s not actually my beach. It’s the one where I live. Lots of fishing goes on from the beach. It’s mostly sea bass I think. And also every low tide people are out cockling. And we harvest laver bread to eat with our breakfast.

It’s great. The shoals are always where you expect them. It’s no effort at all to catch them. And they are so cold they are happy to be in your net, sorry trolley. @firefall
