I don’t like camping

I like roughing it like in a tent
I like camping in an RV.
It’s not really camping if you have an RV.
I don’t want to camp at all.
I only want to camp if I’m in an RV.

Why would I want to make life harder on myself? Now, if you have a big nice RV, then it’s not really camping. Because with a nice big RV, you have everything you would have at home or you could at least. But of course, get to spend time away from your house. But I happen to like it at home.

I've had good times with a mat and a tarp in the box of a pickup.
Nowadays i tow a 44' RV, 3 slides, king size bed, TV, fireplace, fullsize fridge, smaller beer fridge outside, and 2 bathrooms. No waiting.
Different level of camping.
@Hatt94 Next level Glamping. I have to admit though, some days a shower feels so good, and the wilderness is so dirty.

@UnderLockDown and when raining or a chilly night, just have to turn up the furnace a touch.
Back country back packing isn't for everyone. I quit taking anyone with me after 3 people had an emotional breakdown from the isolation, the vast feeling of the real wilderness. My dog was the greatest wilderness companion ever.
Catching trout from an alpine lake, hot coffee, foggy morning, campfire...😍😍😍😍

@UnderLockDown crickets and early birds, the sun, the moonlight... A thousand stars above you and that silence.
Sleeping next to the earth does wonders to the nervous system too.
@being The stars are unbelievable when you get away from the light pollution, and at 8,000 to 12,000 feet in altitude, the sky is really big.

@UnderLockDown Hey you've nailed it, that's what camping is all about.

Best memories are being in a tent when horse packing in the mountains!
