Going home! The road leading me down to the beautiful valley I live in! I spent time in flatland and it's always a pleasure to return to the mountains!
@Datura Yes... a wonderful spot to camp at. Funny you would mention "no place like home, especially when it's so beautiful."
I was having my first cup of coffee on my porch and thought... the same... I have the perfect spot for a camp. It's quiet, beautiful, no group of folks in sight. I have all I need to pitch a tent in the middle of my yard. :-) Life is good!
@Echoing That's what I always think too! I sit on my patio and realize that people pay tons of money and travel many miles to spend a week in the beauty that I live in every day. We are so blessed, my friend.🌈
@SW-User Yes sir, camping in style. Shootfire… We are in our 60s, so trying to get off the ground ..ain't getting it! lol.. I have a cot and my friend had a double decker twin air mattress. Made morning starts better ;-) Thank you, yup.. it's a beautiful area.
@Stereoguy We did..I did.. but so happy to be home. I got my fill of .. socializing and now back to my world. :-) I love my girlfriends dearly, but I am where I am meant to me!
Funny.. I get homesick at times for my .. old life.. family and friends. But it doesn't have ahold on me any longer. I smiled as I drove HOME to WV. Even sung the John Denver's song... Country roads, take me home to the place I belong. ☮️ 💕
