It's my favourite of the seasons. I like summer, but there's something about autumn that makes it special. I love the turning colours on the trees, and the little animals building up their winter homes and food.

I slept in today. I was hoping to travel down a trail near a river, then find a nook where I could just read, and be away from the world. In the coming days I will find myself there.
@BlueGreenGrey She calls the endless daylight "Zombie period" because it's so difficult to sleep at night when it should be dark, but is still strong daylight, and after four months, the people are exhausted and can't wait for the Arctic Night to start.
