I am glad autumn is slowly arriving here.
Two weeks ago it was 98 F! But at least it was dry. The grass was brown, and trees started shedding leaves due to drought.
Then it cooled and rained every day for a week. Sometimes twice a day! Everything is green again.
Today it is only 70 F. And dry and sunny. So nice!

I am! I paused work this morning to go out for breakfast. I work from home. Then I will stop work early today!
I normally would have been off work today, but I have an aftetnoon meeting I need to attend. So I can afford to stop early.
I was sick so long this spring I did not use as much vacation time this year (but a huge amount of sick leave!) So I have a lot to use before the end of the year. There is a limit on how much leave time I can carry over to next year. I wish I were healthier, though, so I could travel. I took a week off this month yet just stayed in town.
