Stoli Vodka has filed for bankruptcy in the U.S

I wonder if that includes Canada ☹

Well Stoli outside Russia is made by a Latvian company.

Would not be surprised if they are suffering from anti Russian sentiment and Americans have no clue where their booze is made.

During the 2008 Russia-Georgia war you had Americans smashing bottles of Smirnoff even though Vodka under that brand has not been made in Russia since the Czarist period.

Rest assured:
No, the US arm of Stoli Group, the owner of Stolichnaya vodka, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the United States, not Canada:

@Quimliqer whoop 🥳
I only drank cheap vodka when I used to go out. Smirnoff I think it was. Tasted the same. 😂

@SmileOnYourBrother Stoli is actually pretty good
@Lilymoon I know. It's the only vodka I would drink straight on rare occasions.

I'll never get the charm about vodka. You may as well drink the alcohol in whiteboard markers and I swear it would taste the same

A pity that good vodka should die due to a war that nobody is winning.

I like Tito's or Grey Goose.
@Sevendays knew a guy who wasted his money on grey goose as he mixed it with coke. i told him why not get cheaper stuff if you're gonna mix it (grey goose super expensive in canada) he said he can easily taste the difference. well i had smirnoff and i was mixing the drinks all night. i was drinking the goose while he had smirnoff....never could tell the difference 🤣

@beermeplease I don't mix it but can tell the difference if someone does. I don't think that buying something I like is a waste of money at all.
i hope not....i like stoli

@beermeplease me too 😋

She used to be my mistress

US only. the filing also included 'Kentucky Owl Bourbon' whatever that is...
Lilymoon · F
@tenente oh wow ok
@tenente Kentucky Bourbon is just whisky made from corn. It is named after the French royal family in the 1700s because it was originally made in what was at the time French colonies.

Fun random bit of Trivia. Until the 1930s in Louisiana you had a right to a French education according to the state constitution.
