Poor lil guy

I am starting to smell a dead animal smell... I think the animal I heard yesterday running around up in the attic may have died. I think it was a squirrel. I am not going to enjoy this smell as it is in my bedroom but I feel sad for the lil critter. 🥺😟🐿️

Yes, it is sad. And unpleasant. I am not sure if the one you hear running around yesterday would start to smell already if it died there, though.

You can't get up into the loft to find it for removal?

The other problem you might have with a dead animal there is a lot of flies in due course, if bluebottles find the corpse and lay their eggs on it.
