Geese can be very aggressive. Problem is their necks are very fragile. Germans did use geese as prison help in WWII. They are that aggressive.
They are better at being alarms, then guards though. For a fox you would need at least six geese. Fox would have trouble with that many.
The fox goes after one, the others will attack. Not like chickens, which are afraid of everything, that doesn't feed them.
