I went to a garage sale one summer. The family was from Sri Lanka. (This is a university city with a large international population. They had very few items but some of them interesting, nothing really valuable. I got out of my car and walked up the driveway. There was a young woman there watching my every move as I looked around…and 3 men who looked like they were her adult brothers were also staring at me. I stayed maybe 5 minutes and told them I didn’t see anything that I needed. Geez you would think that they were selling jewelry or something.
