Sherbrooke Forest in winter.

A few photos from my visit during the second last week of winter.

Sherbrooke Forest in the Dandenong Ranges (Victoria - Australia) is home to 160 wild born Lyrebirds.
The forest is 800 hectares, 1970 acres, of temperate rainforest in the Dandenong Ranges National Park.
The Lyre Birds have inhabited this area for thousands of years, and despite the pressures of modern society, i.e.; habitat clearing and hunting, they maintain a steadfast population in the forest.
