My hubby is mowing the yard

He does it himself to save us money and counts it as excercise too. Meanwhile I get bit by mosquitoes.But it's beautiful outside today!

aww my hub used to love mowing our former one acer of yard on the riding mower.. he can't mow this half acer now as it was all woods with stumps everywhere

@Mindful yeah we had a brick house on an acer and sold it and bough .60 acres of woods 😬 it's a narrow slope going down to a creek.. we have a tiny/shed house now but we own it now vs the 24 years left on our former mortgage

@Mindful yeah it's nice not having to pay for anything anymore lol i just miss the open space we used to have at our former 3 bedroom house as this one has zero.. (bedrooms) it's just all one room aside from the bathroom. ah well tho ..

We can afford to pay someone,but i choose to do it myself for the same reason,some excercise and some satisfaction,it takes hours to cut and trim,so it makes me feel good when i see how good it looks when im done. :)

I've always felt weird paying someone else to more my yard. Like, that is just part of home ownership. I do presently pay someone to do so, but that's just because I'm in a wheelchair and my missing leg seems to be the one all the riding mowers need to operate 😓
