Whats the meaning of a cardinal?

So little Joey comes to my wi dow every night at 4pm. He pecks on the window, flying up to the railing and squaks.
I go to feed him he flies off, waits untill i put the bird seeds in the house and shut the door, then he lands on the feeder, bows towards me and then begins to feed.
Anybody know the fork lore or story about what a cardinal represents?
Im currently curious as to why he chose me to keep on visiting. Other neighbors feed too, but its my door and my feeder he stays attached to. Its so beautiful, yet curious...

Lovely, another subtle blessing to peek our inquisitive minds, and make us smile all the while. Funny how LOVE IS.

I've heard that it means a loved one that has passed is visiting you.

Found this on Google.
A cardinal visiting often symbolizes a spiritual message, most commonly interpreted as a visit or sign from a deceased loved one, offering comfort, love, and a reminder that they are near; other meanings include hope, renewal, constancy, faith, and good luck, appearing in times of need or celebration as a sign of encouragement or new beginnings.

used to have a couple of them that would feed daily on feeder, the female was pretty salty, hogging the food, chasing off other birds, etc.

Isn't that what happens to some priests if they leave the altar boys alone?
