Last time I had a meatball sandwich is tasted like regret. Half soy mixed with meat. No thanks. Haven’t been back to Subway since and that was in 2012.

@cherokeepatti I haven't had a meatball and marinara sub since Delaware in 2005, started a new trend in one casual restaurant in 2001 in New Casltle near the Delaware River, when I asked for lettuce tomato pickles, onions, and black olives, at first everyone, including my late ex fiancee, her son and her son's ex gf, all looked at me like I sprung a second head, the next time we went into Portofino's a month later it was actually added to the menu as options, and was popular.

@NativePortlander1970 Well that sounds really delicious. I had a meatball sandwich at an Italian restaurant when I was in high school, they loaded it with jalapenos.

@cherokeepatti They looked like I was an alien, in the midatlantic region, meatball subs only came with marinara, nothing else, do not even ask, @Musicman could probably confirm that.

@NativePortlander1970 no creativity when they don’t offer any alternatives.
