I posted about Dartmoor earlier and glanced across my living room and remembered finding this up there some years ago. I dont know what the markings are or mean. I just know one of the markings is missing lol. I found this waaaaaay before facebook haha. So there was no one to return it too.

Is there any chance you could take a close.up off the badges on them? Very curious as i love things like this
I hazard a guess its 1920s to 50s possibly as it was a big thing for ramblers back then to carry these walking sticks like that and even more so you found it in dartmoor. Could possibly be made of chestnut? And defo antlers for the handle

Have you tried loading the images to ai. Now i dont like ai at all. But it has helped in identifying certain things for me recently, try and upload the whole stick and pics focused in on the badges
Some look like theyre definitely from dartmoor because one of them look like the prison? Or do i need my glasses 🤣
