What I saw was a video that appeared maybe 20 or 30 years ago of human bodies in various stages of decomp. The study was done to see what Nature does to corpses left out in the open.
Eventually you get large enough the forest industry guys start to rub their hands together, and then suddenly the funeral plot where you are growing is given permission from the government for active logging and you die a second time. Still, yea.. a tree would be pretty cool.
