I love all our native trees

Gum Trees have started shedding their bark covering.
A process called decorticating.
In particular at this time of year, Lemon Scented Gum Trees - Corymbia citriodora, are putting on a display of this shedding.

The bark being shed is less than half a millimetre thick.
