while wireless transmission of power over large distances is possible, proponents of it neglect to mention the cons/disadvantages, etc.
like cost, scalability problems, etc., then there are the more serious problems. Sending microwaves over long distances creates a massive amount of interference, and anything that gets in the way of beam tends to get...microwaved...
given the small margin of error & the proliferation of digital/electronic warfare, it sounds like a good way for them to fry themselves to me... 🤔

and not like we don't have enough clutter floating around in space already, orbital solar panels would be a pretty easy target for any aggressor, and voila, europe goes dark...
