That lake photo makes me feel sad. There's no one to go with me and enjoy it with me. But I'm glad you got to go. It looks like a lovely lovely place. It looks exactly like where I used to go. I didn't realize how much I miss it until I saw that photo and it brought back lots of memories.
I was born and raised on a tobacco farm on the north shore of Lake Erie! 🇨🇦
The back of our farm property was a sand beach that ran for miles in both directions along that north shore. Needless to say, our "back 40" at my parent's farm was 'party central' when I was in high school and most people showed up on Sea-doos or in 14 foot aluminum boats with either beer, ice for at the cooler, or chopped firewood for the fire-pit fire we had going! 🏴☠
We would always look straight across the lake at night and see the lights of Cleveland Ohio in the distance about 30 miles away and wonder if there were any American teenagers doing the same thing as we were on THEIR side of the lake on those hot summer nights?! 🇺🇲 😁
