Did Trump lose his rake again?

Once again, wildfire devastating a National Forest and a National Monument in California. This time while California's National Guard wildfire fighters are sitting twiddling their tumbs in Los Angeles after being Federalized. When is Trump going to begin taking care of his forests?

@MarineBob Which are aimed at getting him to do his job and stop meddling in the state's jobs.

@dancingtongue then the state needs to enforce I aws
@MarineBob Spell much? And most marines by the way say it's beyond their job - which means the marines should never be called upon their own civilians

@MarineBob CalFire has jurisdiction over 3% of the forestland yet gets to fight 100% of the wildfires. The Federal Government owns 58% of the forestland, yet does not maintain them as recommended and under Trump has further cut the amount of personnel to maintain them.
@awildsheepschase Eisenhower sent active duty troops into Arkansas in the 1950s over the Little Rock 9 and related civil rights issues. Johnson federalized Natl Guard in AL in the 1960s over the objection of the governor. I don't like seeing it, especially w a son serving in the Guard right now .. but there is clear precedence from the past, and Johnson was a democrat.
@dancingtongue The rest of the facts .. are that another 40% is managed locally .. so county, municipality, and even some Native American groups. To not acknowledge that is intentionally misleading.

@BrandNewMan Actually 49% is local of one sort or another which anyone with simple math skills could figure out, and which I actually acknowledge in another of my posts. Plenty of blame to go around, but the fact remains that the majority of the forest land is the Federal Government's responsibility, they have not managed it well for decades, and DOGE further wiped out their resources and yet Trump singles out the State for the problem.
@dancingtongue If 57% is federal .. 3% is CA ..how does your math work out to 49% local / other ?? Different liberal "facts"? Otherwise .. my math looks spot on .. your condesceding prick comments aside

@BrandNewMan Typo. Meant 39%.
