Only once by dumb luck -- we must have thrown out a pumpkin in the yard and once, years ago, we realized we had a pumpkin vine growing along the lawn and up into the evergreen trees. The pumpkins were actually full grown an d hanging from the trees by Halloween-time, but then someone smashed them all in the middle of the night. :(
