Saw this beautiful owl on my walk today……

@JimboSaturn it’s a rare occurrence. I see a lot more hawks around here.

@MayorOfCrushtown Yes we have hawks where I live too. They are cool too.

@MayorOfCrushtown Same - Owls are mostly nocturnal...and I am fortunate enough to see Hawks and Bald Eagles now and then.

@fun4us2b I haven’t seen any eagles around here but I have seen a few in the mountains a few miles away.

@MayorOfCrushtown They tend to live near lakes and rivers. I was kayaking in a small river and one flew right over head - it was huge maybe 10 foot wingspan, like a 747 going by!
