There is a mouse in our garage, now what?
We found a live black mouse 馃悂 in our garage this morning. I watched a YouTube video on how to make a humane mouse trap that will catch it in a 5 gal 馃 bucket with a trap door lid for the mouse to fall in the bucket. My trap worked but when I went to put the actual lid on it the mouse jumped 3 feet in the air and got away. We鈥檙e getting an actual humane live mouse trap the we ordered from Amazon tomorrow.
Here is the dilemma. I want to take it out in the desert and let nature take its course. Probably get eaten by a snake 馃悕 but will live a while. My brother wants to put gasoline 鉀斤笍 on it and catch it on fire 馃敟 then shoot it with the AR 15 to put it out of its misery. He said he sinned against us by coming in our house, and the mouse needs to pay for the sin. .
I鈥檓 hoping that I can catch it before he gets home and I鈥檒l let it go. There is a video camera in our garage that finds it and zooms in on it. I鈥檒l have to be fast because my brother caN see what鈥檚 going on by watching it on his cellphone.
