@Gusman There was a kangaroo running loose in central Oklahoma several weeks ago. I don’t know if it was ever caught or if some Redneck got it to stick on his barbecue grill. Some Okies want to eat every kind of wild animal
@Musicman The ones that are constantly living around suburbia do not get as startled by humans. When they are relaxing, laying down, I could stand 40 - 50 meters away from them. Out in the bush? Very skittish, they will flee if I was 100 meters away. The photos I take are the ones I have stumbled across. When I do spot them, and they spot me, I do not move towards them, I almost do not move, except to raise my camera. The longer we have locked eyes, the more nervous they become and they will eventually hop away, on masse. Many times I go into the bush and stay in one place, not moving around, making no noise. Sometimes a mob will very slowly pass by, eating, they almost always see me but because I am usually sitting down, no movement, they keep an eye on me but continue grazing. If I was to stand up then they would be off in a flash.
