@oldercanuck1 I've been in Canada. There are countless beautiful lakes up there.

@Nitedoc yes there many lakes but some people up here get carried away with size ,, i go to a Prior lake it is not much more than an acre we used to call something that size a pond ,,,

@oldercanuck1 Been to Canada? Yes, sort of. I took an Alaskan cruise that touched port in several places. It's not nearly the same as traveling by car so I hear.

@Nitedoc that is true ,, and they only stop in larger places ,, i live on Vancouver island ,,, love it ,,, i used to live in Ontario ,,, to cold to long ,,,

@oldercanuck1 I can't stand the cold for too long. I ever left the States it would be for a South Sea Island. Hot and humid but you get used to it.

@Nitedoc my plan exactly i plan to sail there for the winters ,,, so if it is to crowded i go somewhere else ,,,

@oldercanuck1 I've vacationed in several different places down there and in the Caribbean. I know I can get used to the heat. I scuba dive so has a lot to do with it.

@Nitedoc nice ,, being on the west coast i plan for the pacific ,, or the Caribbean ,, have to decide when i get to ,, the Sea of Cortez ,,, ,
