Fellow walkers does this bother you?

I was walking with a friend in the countryside and we saw this.... it also read 'private property keep out' it has been here for donkey's years so it is not for affordable housing.

Please, allow everyone to enjoy your "private" forest and not use it for your soiree please, if you think it's not a rich person's play thing let me know.

Could be there were visitors who left trash behind and they got tired of cleaning it up and also it may invade their privacy.

I am probably wrong but it could be something to do with saving the BlueBells , apparently its agains the Law to dig them up they are a Protected Species ( Biology classes finally came in handy :) )

@BritishFailedAesthetic well they are still in the ground even in winter lol x
True. I do see them in areas where there is public access in the woods and there are just as many

@BritishFailedAesthetic just found this, so it must be a barrier keeping the Spanish Bluebells away lol

Ask the owner for permission.

"There was a big high wall there
that tried to stop me
The sign was painted, said "Private Property"
But on the other side
it didn't say nothing!
This land
was made for you and me!"

I allow one neighbor,as he allows me.
No one would ever give me permission so theyre not getting it either.

Makes me mad. Why spoil such a beautiful aspect with wire that is designed to harm living creatures? 😞 Open up your woodlands and co-opt fellow citizens to help with their stewardship and management (many of these privately owned parcels of woodland are neglected).
@SunshineGirl Agreed.

If it is their land I can understand it, to be honest.
I get bothered, too. Privatization is out of control and we don't have enough public spaces.

Might be a farm
@Lilnonames Can confirm, not a farm. There is farmland nearby but this is not a farm. It's woodland.
