This photo was taken in Spring a few years ago along the bike path that parallels the Potomac River somewhere between the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the entrance to Arlington National Cemetery.
Wow. Daisies have always been my favorite, and this is my favorite color. But I never knew purple daisies existed. Thanks for the share, they're beautiful and brought awareness to a wildflower lovin' girl.🌼
@hunkalove I believe there are some Cherry trees on this side of the river, but most are on the other side between the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials.
