Watch for auroras (Northern Lights / Southern Lights) the next couple of nights

Looking like very good chances for aurora borealis / aurora australis Sunday night February 26 and the next couple of nights -- further from the poles than usual. If you have clear skies, look up for a while and you may see the Lights.

Forecasts and updates on various apps and websites such as this one:

I used to walk down North Aurora Street in college. Does that count? 😂

@RedBaron That's a "step" in the right direction :D

South Australian sky-gazers have been dazzled by last night's Aurora Australis - this view at Millicent was captured by 7NEWS viewer Ramona Oppelaar.

I keep looking but don’t see anything. Likely too light polluted and it’s been slightly cloudy.
SW-User
@SW-User The light pollution plus slight clouds is enough to hide the Lights unfortunately :(

Have you had a look at Venus and Jupiter side by side in the sky tonight?
SW-User
@SW-User Yes I saw the two stars a couple of nights running. I asked someone what stars they were.

Will people be able to see the aurora borealis shining down in Dallas?

@Stereoguy You'd have to get to Fairbanks Alaska (which I understand is quite far north) to be at the equivalent latitude of Iceland. And at that latitude, Iceland is a milder climate.
