Another season.....

I went sailing by myself out in the lake on Saturday.. it was so warm I never put on my jacket, just wore my sweater... Sunday was a bit cooler a sweater and a light jacket but this time my Wife came out with me... after sailing when I fired up the engine - I put the boat into the wind and dropped the Genoa rather than furl it.. and on returning to the dock I folded it and bagged it.. then we did the same thing to the mainsail... Another season comes to a close but being that yesterday was November 6th ... I can't really complain now can I? My season here in Toronto was about a month and a half longer this fall than my dock neighbours had. I also launch earlier than they do - when the ice is gone from the harbour.. Now I turn my attention to winterizing the systems, hauling and and covering the boat....
