@Nimbus I think we got fed that on the farm one time, my grandpa liked to hunt. My uncle said during WWII they couldn’t get ammo and some liked to use box traps to catch rabbits. The day after the war was declared over the stores had ammo and my grandpa went on a hunting spree, mostly for squirrels, till he about burnt everyone out on squirrel…fried squirrel, squirrel stew, charcoaled squirrel, every way you could think to cook it. I think they might have hinted around for him to stop hunting them.
