It is still dark. The solstice has been and the nights are getting longer. Last week the birds were up and about at this time of day. At my latitude the days get shorter quickly. Four minutes each day.

Thank you. I found that very interesting and helpful. I live even further north than most Canadians. The nights draw in so quickly!
