Its a shaggy ink cap i believe. Occassionally i single one pops up on my lawn. Its just there one morning it all its glory, and completely gone within 48 hours.
@RubySoo I love it. I am not much of a mycologist, but, as a toxicologist, I treated many victims of ingestion of toxic mushrooms. The ink caps are not likely to cause too much trouble, unless you eat them then drink an alcoholic beverage.
