And is formed by the hydrothermal alteration of ultrabasic rock; or the thermal metamorphism of siliceous dolomites.

Chemical formula: [big]Mg[/big]3.[big]Si[/big]4.[big]O[/big]10([big]OH[/big])2

(Sorry - no subscript setting in SW!)

Yeah and you know what it’s good for? If you want to slide down a metal slide in the park in the summer you can powder up the slide and your sweaty legs won’t stick and burn as you are sliding down.

@cherokeepatti Good usage. Need a lot of Powder. 🙂

@Gusman a little bit goes a long way on a slide. I imagine cornstarch would also work. If the park a few blocks from here wasn’t so scary I’d go over and spend some time there. My instincts tell me to stay away and I’m not the only one who got those vibes.

Talc is the reference point for lowest hardness - in Moh's scale of hardness Diamond is at 10, Corundum is 9 (which is Ruby,or Sapphire) and [b]Talc is 1[/b], meaning [i]the least hardness[/i]
Thank you 😃
