Nineteen thousand children have been orphaned in Gaza.

The world looks on.

Please focus on positive suggestions as to how to move forward.

I’ve suggested a few in the main body of the post from a British perspective

Pray for peace and reconciliation in the Palestine.

Lobby the British government to make a more neutral stance.

Support David Cameron in his attempt to get humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. And his attempt to recognise Palestine as a State.

Support aid agencies financially. Including Christian aid and the UN.

Adopt them out. Stop the child abuse of training them to hate and kill.
@MasterLee That actually is not a bad suggestion. I wonder if they could be absorbed in the Islamic communities throughout the world. Festering there in a land lacking hope is going to do them no good.

World governments could contribute financially and open their borders.

@sunriselover Why do you think all of the muslim countries close to Israel won't open their borders to refugees from Gaza? Why won't Egypt - which controlled Gaza before 1967 - accept any?

@MasterLee I don't think that sunny-jim is going to reply to me. He's not a lover of truth it appears.

@ArtieKat you did ask the right question.

@ArtieKat because they fear that Israel won't ever let them come back, as has been stated by some Zionists, including members of the Knesset. It's called ethnic cleansing.

@MasterLee So is this just one side doing the forced adoption, both sides adopting each other's children, and how do you think parents would react to their children being taken from them? Let alone how those children may grow up seriously damaged and angry at being stolen from their real parents?

@22Michelle If you had read the headline of this thread which @sunriselover started
Nineteen thousand children have been orphaned in Gaza.
you might appreciate that what @MasterLee suggested had nothing to do with forcible adoption.

@ArtieKat As I suggested the Islamic community could adopt many. But that may lead to later resentment. Just as the British government allows 100 000 fit young African men into the country as so called asylum seekers.

In fact Britain could temporarily adopt
them all, instead of poking its nose in the Middle East with missiles and drones.
