The world looks on.

Please focus on positive suggestions as to how to move forward.

I’ve suggested a few in the main body of the post from a British perspective

Pray for peace and reconciliation in the Palestine.

Lobby the British government to make a more neutral stance.

Support David Cameron in his attempt to get humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. And his attempt to recognise Palestine as a State.

Support aid agencies financially. Including Christian aid and the UN.

@jshm2 No. Israel has roughly two million Arab citizens, who enjoy more freedom and prosperity than those in any Islamic state. You will find, in 1947 there was a two state peace agreement. The "Palestinians" are those that declared war on the Jewish state. The Arabs who chose peace are much much much better off.

@IronHamster The Arab citizens are treated badly on the West Bank and are harassed. The few remaining Christian Arabs fair no better.

But it is the plight of the orphans in the Gaza Strip that is the focus of this post. And I have got at least one constructive comment. Thank you MasterLee.

@sunriselover You understand so much that is not so. The west bank is controlled by the homophobic group Hezbollah, who kill gay people without a second thought. Do you support the killing of gay people also?

@IronHamster The West Bank is not the ficus here. but the plight of the orphaned children in Gaza.

The West Bank contains a few residue Christian Arabs who are treated treated badly by the Israelis. Which is why they were horrified when Welby came out in his support of Israel. And still does incidentally, though he has had to modify his stance a little. There are incidentally 20 000 Christian’s in Gaza, some of which have been giving sanctuary in their Churches, medical staff and teachers. Again Welby has offered no support.

Some positive suggestions are emerging.

Firstly the children could be air lifted and fostered.
Secondly the UK could open its doors to all of them.

But what is coming through too is that it will take a long time for peace to break through

@sunriselover Are you open to solutions like prosecuting supporters of UNRWA and Hamas for crimes against humanity, and taking the children away from the mothers that bred them to become guided bombs and human shields?
