I was given this today…

I always wanted this ring as a little girl. I used to love watching it sparkle and I would trace over the diamonds with my fingers while my grandma told me stories.

I want it, and I’ll keep it close forever but I hate that it’s mine. I always thought I’d be so happy to own it, but the reality is I only get to own it because she’s no longer here. I’d trade it in a heartbeat if it would bring her back.
