Decisions decisions decisions

So I’m not in a bad place mental health wise, not perfect, but not bad. However I know how easy it is to plummet if not careful.

This weekend will be a massive trigger for me, I know it will be because it is every year. It’s Father’s Day on Sunday and it hits me hard every single time. The problem is that it’s everywhere you go…on tv, on social media, in shops, pubs, restaurants. You just can’t escape from it.

So the choices do I stick it out, try to practice resilience and just push through with the occasional expected meltdown…

Or do I disappear until it’s over? Go off grid, no phone, no internet, no people until Monday?

I really want to say, push through it and face it.
But if it only will end up in sure meltdown, then it's not worth it. However, if you can find the strength to at least go through a quarter of the day normally, maybe good. Next year add an hour.

@SW-User I know how it will go, it has for the last 13! Just think it’s one of the days that will always be too raw for me
