The adventure begins….

I’m officially a student - I started university today for my fine art degree. I never thought I’d get here. School was a write off for me…my emotionally unstable teen years meant I spent most of school being expelled or skipping class. I had no confidence in my abilities and no motivation to achieve.

Art has always been my passion, the one thing I could do, that I enjoyed doing and could excel at. The thought of having a career in art is a dream come true, but I still never imagined that I would get to university.

I feel so proud, still in disbelief that I actually got in…me…at university. No matter what happens I’m still proud of myself that I got this far, and for the first time in my life I think my parents would be proud

@SW-User You are welcome. How many years will you study?

I had a wonderful time at university. I studied at a small university in lovely town. Ideal surroundings for studying.

@Mugin16 I can stay for 4 years but my final year there is the option of studying abroad which is quite exciting

@SW-User Oh that is nice! Which options of partner universities do they offer?
SW-User
@Mugin16 Australia, France and Italy I think

@SW-User For Fine Arts, France and Italy sound like the better choices. Maybe you can study French or Italian besides your degree?
SW-User
@Mugin16 haha no way…I have zero skills when it comes to learning a language…think I’ll just stick with the art
