Russia and the United States differ significantly in their political systems, economies, and cultural norms. While Russia operates as an authoritarian, centralized state, the U.S. is a federal republic with decentralized power. Economically, the U.S. has a vastly larger and more diverse economy than Russia's, which is heavily reliant on natural resources
Americans never lived in a democracy in the first place. The USA was originally set up as a Democratic Republic but no longer holds the values inherent of a true Republic. The Republican Party of America has been hijacked by an Authoritarian fascist Ruler, which means the US is now a two-party system comprised of the Democratic Party and the MAGA Party. The Republican Party no longer exists in principle.
