Americans are the melting pot of diversity. All walks of life, all different cultures. From all corners of the earth. Freedom of beliefs, and the right to live free. @Montanaman So many people, including those who are foreign born, have pulled themselves up by their bootstraps here creating a life that they could have never imagined for themselves when they are young. I have known quite a few who have done that. In some countries the poor are judged harshly and family connections and other acts of nepotism are required in order to land a decent job. So much corruption that way in those countries .We have corruption here but not to that extent where young people refuse to get married in their mid-thirty’s or later as common practice so they don’t have to support a growing family.
