Will some cities and states see a mass exodus of police?

There are three trends:

1. Banning non-lethal
riot control methods like pepper spray, fire hoses, rubber bullets, & batons.

2. Eliminating “qualified immunity,” so police officers (not just the city or state) can be easily sued in civil court.

3. Defunding police departments so officers are paid less and layoffs are needed.

@curiosi Well the politicians who are anti police might want to encourage people to join the National Guard because if the trend about defunding police along with other issues that are raised about and against police, the ranks might very well thin out and someone will need to be brought in to reign in what will inevitably take place...chaos.

@curiosi They got a dose of reality and a taste of chaos on Jan 6th. My comment about the guard was not a joke. Cops were to quit en masse, then 6 Jan will look like a walk in the park. Whether it’s those who stormed the. Capitol or BLM or ANTIFA , the destruction of police in America will open a Pandora’s box.
