Americans, do you use wash lines at all? Or only tumble driers?
I understand people who live in apartments and when the weather is crazy not using washing lines, but what about the rest?

My HOA doesn't allow clothes lines. We use a rack inside. The heater and a/c dry out things in twelve hours.
The drier is used for maybe ten minutes a week.
Electricity is expensive at 21.5 cents per kwh.
