I'm American but I have family in DR, Spain and Costa Rica. Nobody wants to go to the USA. Only the lower classes. Before the USA was held at such a high esteem, you used to see middle class and higher wanting go to the usa but not anymore. Basically everybody is saying they are watching the fall of an empire. Had family members that got sick in the USA and bought the first flight out of the USA to not pay the ridiculous high bill.

@empanadas Basically the same lines of thoughts you'd find in Europe. Not only about USA but UK too.

@CrazyMusicLover yeah I can see the UK as well. I know a lot of people in the EU are going to Norway, poland or Germany nowdays. Sad how much the USA has fallen

When do you think the US started imploding? And why?

I understand what you are saying about medical cost. A one day visit to the emergency room can run up a $100,000 tab if you don't have the right insurance. Meanwhile if an insurance company has to pick up the tab it can do so with pocket change. How the hell did we get into such extreme imbalance for how people are treated? Where the hell are the anti-trust and fair pricing cops?

@empanadas Yup, Canada, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria

Really Poland? 😮 What do they do there?
