It's because USA is a modern state compared to Europe where these cities exist for centuries and evolved to it. A perfect blend of old and modern. That's why Europe always attracts me more than USA.

The inner part of the Boston metro area looks more like A than B - roads laid out by wandering cows, and every town with an old church and the town hall overlooking the common, where the locals grazed their cows.

What I really like about European cities is that you can use your feet to get from A to B.

About 5 to 8 hours

I like the grid pattern street layout of US cities, but everything else of the European cities.

No bus stations or train stations in American city?? That runs counter to my experience.

American cities are designed for cars, European cities are more walkable

And everything in Europe is made of stone and everything in America is plastic and cardboard.
