Nationality

Many SW members hiding names and faces to ensure anonymity is understandable. But even nationality? Do they really expect to be traced from the nations population? 😀

I think this is stretching it too far. Others might need to know the location to understand the culture better.

Are we not pushing it too far by hiding nationality for anonymity?

I just don't want all that garbage up there, I'd rather it be clean and not even have follower/view counts displayed. 🤷‍♀️

If someone wants to know me then they'll know.

@MoonlightLullaby You are a lover of nature. And all things nice. Your love is not restricted by borders or cultures or climates. It transcends all barriers.
But all are not like you. What is garbage to you might be fodder for others. View count might be for the narcissist. Followers might be for the those who love to be popular. Sexual orientation is mentioned for those with more carnal inclinations.
Similarly location helps us to ask about distant lands and cultures. Like me, for example. I am from the tropics. Snowfall is something i see only in movies. I have touched it only in the refrigerator. And when i see pictures i want to ask where is this place? You live here? How cold is cold? And i get stonewalled. Someone feels it will disclose their identify and their neighbors will know the adult joke they cracked last week 🙄😀
@WandererTony Not everyone is like me? No way. 😳🤭

I just answered your question truthfully. 😏

View count might be for the narcissist. Followers might be for the those who love to be popular.

Yes, these are my views on those subjects, but I've just never cared about listing all that stuff. If someone asks, it's not like I wouldn't tell them in the US. 😉
