@MellyMel22 oh no, the memories are very sad, haha, but there's different ways of experiencing sadness. And for some reason, the way Avril sings this song brings some warmth and color to the memories and makes them feel delicate and soft, instead of harsh and cold.

I'm probably not making a lot of sense with any of this, but I think music can provide a different lens through which to experience life; past and present.
