What are some good "reverse" cover songs?

Assuming most cover songs are newer musicians paying tribute to an older musician's song. I'm considering a "reverse" cover to be an older musician paying tribute to a newer musician's song.

@MellyMel22 Back in the early '90s, for the VMAs on MTV, they had William Shatner do covers of songs at the time, in the way he talks and delivers his lines.
