@HowtoDestroyAngels I love the sound of a great song on a record with just the right amount of sonic degradation and crackling. I have all the vintage vinyl of my moms from as far back as her high school days. She was a pretty big Doors fan. And I snagged the original record player that my parents got for a wedding present. Which reminds me that I need to get it out of storage and hook it up to my sound-bar and enjoy the music in that medium.

@HowtoDestroyAngels It’s not a huge collection and like many things that I have reappropriated from my parents and grandparents the value is priceless and I could never part with it no matter what. I know vinyl records are very popular again especially vintage vinyl if it’s in good condition and fortunately all the records have their original sleeves and they have very little signs of wear. I’m just glad that I was interested in it 25-30 years ago and it became available to me because they were moving into CDs 💿 and I have a lot of those myself too all transpired and scattered onto a couple laptops in my iTunes. I read somewhere once that Rick Rubin has or had a stack of laptops that were full of music. That must be an amazing collection of sound !!!
